Four Corners Motorcycle Rally

For more than three decades, the Four Corners Motorcycle Rally has kicked off Labor Day weekend in Durango, drawing several thousand riders from across the Southwest for a weekend of dirt drags, flat track racing, bike shows, and live entertainment centered at the La Plata County Fairgrounds and Durango Harley-Davidson. Highlights include the Four Corners Dirt Drags, the Flat Track Races, the Iron Goddess women's bike show, and the Ives Brothers' Wall of Death, a rare traveling board-track act that draws crowds all weekend long.

Because it lands on the last big holiday weekend of summer, the rally is one of Durango's most reliable occupancy drivers, filling rooms well beyond downtown as riders base themselves throughout the region. Member properties should expect strong demand from Thursday through Sunday and plan staffing accordingly, since many riders extend their stay to explore the surrounding backroads and mountain passes.
