Our Mission
The mission of the Durango Area Hospitality and Lodgers Association is to represent the common interest of our members in the hospitality industry, including political action and education, and to exercise business in an ethical and professional manner.
Our Profile
- Foster a cooperative, ethical spirit among the lodging and hospitality members within the Durango area.
- Further the education of both members and non-members around the lodging and hospitality industry.
- Supply a united voice for state, federal, and local legislation which may affect the lodging and hospitality industry.
- Promote good policy and sound business principles.
- Supply information relating to the lodging and hospitality industry to members, and build a strong resource network.
- Assist and advise in the promotion of tourism in the Durango area.
DAHLA has represented Durango-area lodging and hospitality businesses for years, including helping lead the community conversation around the City of Durango's 2021 lodgers'-tax ballot measure. Today, DAHLA continues that work — connecting members, advocating on their behalf, and supporting a strong, sustainable visitor economy.
