Durango Autumn Arts Festival
Location: Historic Downtown Durango (E. 2nd Avenue)
Now in its fourth decade, the Durango Autumn Arts Festival transforms East Second Avenue into an open-air gallery each September, with nearly 100 juried artist booths spanning painting, ceramics, jewelry, sculpture, and more. Produced by the Durango Arts Center, the festival also features a dedicated Young Artists section, live music, and food vendors, drawing browsers and collectors from across the Four Corners for a single busy weekend downtown.
The festival typically falls in the weeks following Labor Day, giving DAHLA members a shoulder-season boost in weekend traffic as visitors combine the arts festival with fall foliage drives and other September events. Properties near downtown should expect a noticeable bump in Saturday and Sunday demand.
